London Ecumenical AIDS Trust
Believes that awareness raising and training can counter misunderstanding and the prejudice experienced by many people living with HIV/AIDS, contributing directly to their well being and quality of life.

Provides information, advice and training on HIV/AIDS and related matters to Christian and Jewish communities in London and further afield.

Co-ordinates the annual World Aids Day service at Southwark Cathedral, which offers public support to those living with HIV/AIDS and the partners, friends and families of those who have died.

Runs a series of training days for Christian and Jewish communities and other interested individuals.

LEAT is affiliated to the London Churches Group, taking forward its original mandate to mobilize Christian and Jewish communities to compassionate and constructive responses to the emerging HIV/AIDS epidemic. LEAT continues to highlight new areas of concern, and seek appropriate practical and pastoral responses to the evolving needs of those living with HIV/AIDS. LEAT works with people of all faiths and none.
