LEAT has been meeting the needs of people affected by HIV and AIDS in London since 1990. The organisation has continued to grow to meet the needs of its clients and a committed board of trustees has provided leadership and guidance.

Our board of trustees provides LEAT with a breadth of experience and expertise. All trustees contribute their time to help set and oversee the strategic direction of LEAT. They work directly with LEAT staff, review and comment on plans and performance, review any major issues bearing on the wellbeing of the organisation, and decide important new directions. It is the trustees’ responsibility to approve our budget, annual report and accounts.

The board meets four times a year and consists of a President who chairs the committee; secretary, treasurer and representatives of the local community including our service users. A management committee has been established from the board of trustees to oversee the smooth running of our programmes and services.

Our current trustees:

Baroness Kathleen Richardson of Callow - President
Canon Grahame Shaw – Treasurer
] Bala Gnanapragasam – Secretary
Faith Boardman – Chair of the Management Committee
Sister Dorothy Bell
Revd. Sheryl Anderson
Rabbi Mark Solomon
Dr. Charles Mazhude
Merol Alwch

LEAT is constantly looking to expand its skills base to cope with the increasing demands of the organisation. If you have a commitment to people affected by HIV and AIDS and feel you have the skills to enable LEAT to grow please forward your CV to the chair of the management committee, Faith Boardman – c/o paul@leat.org.uk
